“We have always inculcated in the hearts of USB employees to share,” said UCPB President and CEO Lizette Margaret Mary J. Racela, during the turn-over ceremony at the Save the Children Philippines Headquarters.
USB turned over on January 11, 2019 a total of Fifty five thousand pesos (P55,000). The amount was from voluntary donations of the employees and Kanta Para sa Mga Bata, a christmas carol participated by selected USB employees intended to raise additional funds for the children of Marawi
The turn-over was also attended by Atty. Alberto Muyot, CEO and Cecile Santillan, Fundraising and Marketing Director of Save the Children Philippines, as well USB’s Corplan and MIS Head, Jay Valera. Amongst the many Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the Bank , this is the first for 2019. Save the Children Philippines extended their heartfelt gratitude for the generosity of USB.
“We are the forefront of saving children’s lives when disasters strike. We want to create lasting change for children and their families thru long term development programs; and we thank USB for being a part of our centennial year,” Atty. Muyot stated.
